Bio
I have always been curious about the human experience and the ways our thoughts, emotions, and perceptions shape how we navigate the world. Over time, I have developed a deeper appreciation for the complexity of human behavior and the many factors that contribute to our unique experiences. Psychological assessment is one tool for exploring that complexity, offering insight into patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior, while simultaneously recognizing that no single framework, diagnosis, or test result can fully capture who someone is. I approach each evaluation with curiosity, objectivity, and respect for the person behind the assessment. Ultimately, my goal is to provide meaningful insights that foster greater self-awareness, offer clarity, and help individuals make informed decisions about their lives.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2012. After graduation, I worked with adolescent females and adult males in residential facilities; supporting them in their mental health recovery and goals of living as independently as possible. I moved to Chicago, Illinois, in 2013, where I obtained my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. During the last year of my doctorate training, I moved to Utah to complete my pre-doctoral internship, where I’ve practiced since 2017.
To keep myself feeling my best, and to provide my clients with the best service, I prioritize moving my body in the gym and seeing what I am capable of athletically. Trail running, hiking, camping, and traveling are some of my favorite hobbies.
